Sharif Suleiman, a representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, announced that a Kurdish government delegation will head to Baghdad soon to discuss the salaries of the region’s employees.
Suleiman stated in an interview with the Maalouma Agency that the positive relationship between the Baghdad government and the regional government could potentially resolve the issue of salaries for the region’s employees.
During the delegation’s visit, they aim to confirm equal payment of salaries for regional employees compared to federal government employees and discuss the region’s financial revenues.
He pointed out that Kurdish officials continue to visit Baghdad to find solutions to problems between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.
Suleiman pointed out that the Kurdistan Regional Government believes that Al-Sudani is committed to resolving all outstanding issues, including the salaries of the region’s employees.
