The popular movement accuses Washington of imposing guardianship over Iraq

On Monday, the popular movement warned the government about the consequences of delaying the decision made by the previous parliament regarding the withdrawal of foreign forces from Iraq.

The leader of the organization, Hussein Ali Jassim, stated in an interview with [publication name] that the United States is asserting its control over Iraq’s sovereignty and continuing to delay the withdrawal of troops.

He said, “There is marketing for the previous parliament’s decision to remove all foreign forces, especially American forces, from the country based on a set timetable.”

During a recent speech, he emphasized that the presence of foreign forces is not welcome in the country. He urged the coordination framework forces to arrange a meeting with the government within the House of Representatives to discuss scheduling the withdrawal of foreign forces from the country.

The Popular Legal Movement demanded that the issue of removing foreign forces from Iraq be put back on the parliamentary table, dismissing it as a media frenzy.
