The State of Law coalition identifies 3 paths to end the Diyala complex

The State of Law coalition came up with three options on Tuesday to get rid of Diyala’s political complex.

“Resolving the political complex in Diyala is not difficult, and the solutions depend on three specific paths, starting with continuing to support the State of Law coalition’s candidate for the position of governor, as it is an entitlement approved by the coordination framework with all its powers and openness to the powers,” Issam Shaker, the leader of the State of Law coalition, stated in an interview with the When it comes to choosing a candidate for the presidency of the Council and agreeing to form a government with national participation, Sunni Islam will consider its options.

“Any attempt to jump over political entitlements is a grave mistake, pointing out that” his coalition welcomes the agreements that lead to accelerating the pace of forming the Diyala government, but only on the condition that his coalition’s entitlement exists, and this is something that we will not retreat from, he continued. “Any attempt to jump over political entitlements is a grave mistake.”

“The State of Law coalition is in direct meetings with all political forces and is seeking to bring together the parties in order to form the local government,” he remarked.

It is noteworthy that the Coordination Framework Forces agreed to give the State of Law coalition the Governor of Diyala position, even though it submitted four candidates and none of them have won a majority yet.
