The Chief General of the Public Power Organization in Jordan, Amjad Al-Rawashdeh, affirmed that the Jordanian-Iraqi electrical interconnection line will enter administration tomorrow, Saturday.
Al-Rawashdeh told the authority Jordanian organization, Petra, that the line will be divided among the Jordanian Risha electrical stations and the Iraqi Rutba station, at a voltage of 132 kilovolts, to take care of the heaps of the Rutba region close to the boundary with Jordan.
On February 11, 2024, in the capital, Amman, Iraq and Jordan marked a record to supply the Iraqi side with electrical energy with a limit of 40 megawatts in the main stage, as the two players believed the agreement to be important for a more far reaching Middle Easterner arrangement for the joint Bedouin energy market from now on.
The Iraqi Service of Power declared the culmination of activity of the Iraqi-Jordanian electric line, affirming that the date for the line to enter administration will be Saturday.
