According to the Ministry of Commerce’s announcement on Wednesday, the Baghdad International Fair’s 47th session will open this afternoon with 850 companies from 20 countries participating.
Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Hanoun announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will sponsor the conference, with 140 participating companies.
According to his statement, there will be 8 Arab countries and 12 foreign countries participating in the exhibition. The Arab countries include Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Oman, and Palestine. The foreign countries participating include Spain, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Algeria, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, and others.
Hanoun announced that the exhibition will run for ten days, starting today and ending on the 19th of this month. He emphasized that the exhibition aims to establish genuine partnerships between the Iraqi and international private sectors.
