In order to improve supply and distribution in the city center, districts, and sub-districts, the Kirkuk Governorate referred two projects in the electricity sector to install 7,250 poles and 400 transformers.
Dinaropinions.com was present for a press conference where Kirkuk Governor Ribwar Taha stated: The Distribution Department’s specialist engineers have begun work on the two projects in the Kirkuk areas to install 7,250 electric poles and 400 transformers.
He went on to say that the areas of Rahim Awa, Shuraw, Karkajal, Sakaniyan, and Baghdad Road have been given 50 transformers and 600 columns, while the housing areas of Azadi, Darwazo, Al-Qadisiyah Al-Ula, Al-Hajjaj, and Banja Ali have been given 45 transformers and 300 columns, along with 45 more for Turklan, Badr neighborhood, and Al-Qouriya. 44 transformers have been allocated for Domiz, Azar, Al-Nida, and Al-Asra; 62 transformers will be installed for the Al-Hawija, Al-Abbasi, Tal Ali, and Al-Mahawez sectors, as well as 750-900 columns. Daquq and Taza had 44 transformers and 1500 columns, while Al-Dibs, Kobri, and Sarkaran had 66 transformers and 1600 columns, among other places.
