Iraq’s Finance Minister, Faleh Sari, has ordered the start of salary payments for government employees for the month of June.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, the minister instructed the Accounting Department to begin releasing salaries for all employees starting Sunday.
The ministry confirmed that the directive took effect immediately, allowing the payment process to begin today.
The move is expected to help ensure that employees receive their salaries without further delay and reflects the ministry’s efforts to meet its financial obligations on time.
