The US dollar recorded another increase against the Iraqi dinar on Tuesday in both Baghdad and Erbil markets, continuing the recent upward trend in exchange rates.

In Baghdad, the dollar reached 159,800 Iraqi dinars per 100 US dollars in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, compared with 159,050 dinars recorded the previous day.

At local exchange shops in the capital, the selling price rose to 160,250 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price stood at 159,250 dinars.

In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, the selling price of the dollar reached 159,800 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price was 159,750 dinars.

The latest increase reflects continued pressure on the Iraqi dinar in local markets as traders monitor currency demand, central bank policies, and broader economic conditions.
