The exchange rate of the U.S. dollar against the Iraqi dinar remained stable in Baghdad on Sunday evening, while Erbil recorded a slight decline by the end of trading.
In Baghdad, the dollar continued to trade at 156,500 dinars per $100 in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, unchanged from the rates recorded earlier in the day.
Currency exchange shops in Baghdad’s local markets also maintained the same rates, with the selling price at 157,000 dinars per $100 and the buying price at 156,000 dinars per $100.
In Erbil, the dollar eased slightly compared to earlier trading. Exchange shops recorded a selling price of 156,250 dinars per $100, while the buying price stood at 156,200 dinars per $100.
The latest figures indicate that the dollar remained steady in the capital, while northern markets experienced a modest decline, reflecting relatively stable trading conditions across Iraq’s currency markets.
