A new residential project with 1,620 housing units is moving forward in Baghdad’s Ameriya district, behind the American University of Baghdad.
The investment contract for the Abraaj Al-Ameriya residential project was signed with Al-Ab’ad Al-Dhahabiya for Investment and Real Estate Development, a subsidiary of Al-Kamil Holding Group.
According to Iraq’s National Investment Commission (NIC), the contract was issued under investment licence No. 496/2025, dated October 1, 2025.
The signing ceremony was attended by NIC Chairman Adel Dakhil Muhammad al-Yasiri and Deputy Chairman Salar Muhammad Amin. Representatives from the company included Al-Kamil Holding Group Chairman Mustafa Kamil Abboud, Al-Ab’ad Al-Dhahabiya Managing Director Dr. Muhannad Kamil Abboud, and the group’s legal department head, Youssef Sattar Youssef.
The project will add 1,620 housing units to Baghdad’s residential development plans.
