Parliamentary services Committee member Baqir al-Saadi said on Monday that the house of Representatives is inactive because of the absence of about 80 MPs who have now not been in office for 4 years.

Al-Saadi added in his statement to dinaropinions.com, “The absence of those representatives has led to criminal violations because of weak oversight. There are also additional violations because of the weak point of the council’s leadership, which has caused the suspension of many crucial legal guidelines for society and has no longer but been surpassed.”
