As part of efforts to reform the economy and combat corruption, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani confirms that the project to automate the ration card will proceed. On Monday, he presided over a special meeting to follow up on the project. During the meeting, the project’s stages, its most important requirements, and the provision of its needs were discussed.
During the gathering, Mr. Al-Sudani focused on the significance of continuing with the robotization cycle, as it lies at the core of the public authority’s way to deal with monetary and authoritative change, as well as its endeavors to battle debasement.
His Excellency pointed out that this file is connected to more than one of the five priorities that the government program has chosen. These priorities are all related to securing food supplies for all covered categories and segments without delay or disruption and in a way that meets the aspirations of Iraqi citizens in every region.
