Scottish-based EthosEnergy has been offered a multimillion-dollar Operations and maintenance (O&M) settlement for the Maisan [Maysan, Missan] blended Cycle electricity Plant close to Basra.
The 3-yr contract, EthosEnergy’s first comprehensive 1/3-party Care, Custody and manage settlement inside the middle East, covers operations, inspections, and upkeep of the 850 MW facility.
The strength plant, operated by way of Maysan electricity agency (MPC), is part of the Raban Al Safina (RAS) group, chaired by using Mr Saadi Saihood.
The plant features two Siemens strength SGT5-4000F gas turbine generator units, one SST5-4000 steam turbine, one SGen5-2000H electric powered generator, and stability of plant systems.
EthosEnergy will oversee operations, ordinary inspections, and each ordinary and preventive renovation for all strength plant system, appearing on behalf of MPC in coping with the lengthy-term O&M provider settlement.
