NFT sales drop 28% to $98m, Bored Ape Yacht Club sales surge 100%

NFT sales volume fell 28.42% last week to $98.18 million, according to CryptoSlam data. Despite the decline, market participation increased, with 626,341 buyers (+22.86%) and 469,316 sellers (+13.54%). Total NFT transactions dropped slightly by 5.08% to 1,458,311, while the global crypto market cap decreased to $3.71 trillion from $3.75 trillion.

Top Collections

  • DMarket (Mythos) retained the top spot with $5.92M in sales, down 34.09%, processing 209,894 transactions.
  • DX Terminal (Base) fell 18.23% to $5.62M with 294,979 transactions.
  • Bored Ape Yacht Club (Ethereum) surged 108.47% to $5.22M, regaining top collection status.
  • Pudgy Penguins climbed 21.07% to $4.85M.
  • Guild of Guardians Heroes (Immutable-ZK) rose 11.11% to $3.88M.
  • CryptoPunks jumped 49.48% to $3.79M, despite only 21 transactions.

Blockchain Rankings

  • Ethereum led overall NFT sales with $41.72M, up 19.72% weekly, attracting 54,401 buyers.
  • Bitcoin came second with $11.55M, down 11.47%, with 18,316 buyers (+36.06%).
  • Base rose to $10.36M, up 7.34%, with 277,561 buyers.
  • Immutable recorded $6.56M, up 12.54%, with 7,981 buyers.
  • Solana surged 30.28% to $6.16M, drawing 40,011 buyers.
  • Mythos Chain dropped to sixth with $6.09M, despite 46,981 buyers (+39.03%).
  • BNB Chain rounded out the top seven at $5.25M, up slightly in buyer numbers (+33.18%).

Despite the drop in total sales, rising buyer numbers and high-value NFT transactions indicate renewed engagement and selective collection growth, with Ethereum-backed assets, especially BAYC and CryptoPunks, driving much of the market’s momentum.
