A member of the State of Law coalition: The framework is cohesive among its members, and the government will emerge from within it.

A new political update is coming out of Iraq, and it’s all about stability inside the Coordination Framework—the bloc that plays a major role in forming the government.

Sabah al-Anbari, a member of the State of Law Coalition, said that the parties inside the Coordination Framework are solid and united, with no signs of internal conflict. According to him, everything is on track to form the next government without delays or political fights.

Al-Anbari explained that the Framework brings together key leaders and influential political figures, especially from the Shia side of Iraqi politics. Because of this strong leadership structure, he said it’s very unlikely that divisions or splits will happen.

He also talked about the Reconstruction and Development Coalition, led by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. He said this group includes members from different political backgrounds, but this diversity does not weaken the Coordination Framework. He noted that Nouri al-Maliki recently confirmed that there’s no conflict between the two groups.

According to al-Anbari, al-Maliki has made it clear that the next government will come from within the Coordination Framework, and this point is “non-negotiable.” For that reason, al-Anbari says there will be no internal struggle over who forms the government.

In short:
✔ The Coordination Framework is united
✔ No internal divisions are expected
✔ The next government will come from the Framework
✔ Sudani’s coalition does not affect Framework unity
