KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with a delegation from the United States–Kurdistan Business Council (USKBC), led by its President, David Tafuri.
At the beginning of the meeting, Tafuri congratulated Prime Minister Barzani on the successful Iraqi parliamentary elections and explained the goals of their visit.
Prime Minister Barzani spoke about the latest developments in both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. He highlighted the reform work of the ninth cabinet, especially in the energy and natural gas sectors. He stressed how important it is to bring in more American investment and increase the role of US companies in major sectors across the Region.
