The Muthanna Criminal Court has sentenced the director of the Martyrs Foundation in Muthanna Governorate to ten years in prison.
According to the judiciary’s media office, the official was found guilty of accepting a bribe in exchange for speeding up the paperwork of a beneficiary classified as a victim of military operations.
The sentence was issued under the provisions of Article 2/1 of Resolution 160 of 1983.
