The Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services has announced new dates for the Baghdad International Fair.
The 50th edition of the fair will now take place from January 23 to January 29, 2027. The event was originally planned for February 1–7, 2027, but the dates were changed.
The company, which operates under the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, said the change was made after reviewing logistical and organizational plans. The earlier dates would have overlapped with Ramadan next year.
Director General Mustafa Al-Ani said the new timing will make it easier for more Arab and international countries and companies to take part. It will also help organizers run the event more smoothly.
Preparations have already started for the 50th edition of the fair. Officials say this special “golden jubilee” edition will focus on strengthening Iraq’s trade and economic ties with countries around the world.
