Iraq is tightening control over how exhibitions are organized in the country.
The General Company for Iraqi Exhibitions and Commercial Services said it is the only official body allowed to approve exhibitions. It called on all organizers to coordinate with them in advance to avoid any problems.
The company, which operates under the Ministry of Trade, stressed that events must follow all legal rules and regulations. It warned against holding exhibitions without proper approval, whether in Baghdad or other provinces.
It also made it clear that any violations will face legal action, as part of efforts to keep the sector organized and support the growth of Iraq’s exhibitions industry.
