The exchange rate of the dollar fell today, Thursday, in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan.

The opening of the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges caused the dollar to drop to $159,800 from $100.

The selling and purchasing prices of the US dollar decreased in Baghdad’s local markets and banking shops. On Wednesday, the selling price was 160,750 Iraqi dinars, while the purchasing price was 158,750 dinars for every 100 dollars.

Banking shops in Erbil recorded a decline in the dollar, with the selling price at 159,900 dinars and the purchase price at 159,800 dinars for 100 dollars.
