Hussein Arab, a member of the Iraqi Parliament, made a request today, Thursday, for the federal and regional governments to pledge to carry with the Federal Court’s ruling on the regional employees’ salary.
Arabs stated, “Since the central government sent the salaries for the month of March to the region, it is required to settle the salaries of the region.”
He said, “The relationship between Erbil and Baghdad is translated through laws, legislation, and decisions issued by the Federal Court, which obligated everyone to localize the salaries of employees and retirees in the region.”
Arabs stated that “there is optimism that Erbil and Baghdad will reach a solution to the disputes within the legal and constitutional frameworks, as the decisions of the Federal Court are based directly on the legal and constitutional articles and no party can question their integrity.”
