The US dollar recorded a slight decline against the Iraqi dinar in both Baghdad and Erbil, reflecting modest changes in local currency markets.

In Baghdad, the dollar exchange rate fell at the central Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, reaching 154,600 Iraqi dinars for every 100 US dollars. This was slightly lower than Saturday’s closing rate of 154,750 dinars per 100 dollars.

Currency exchange shops across Baghdad also reported lower rates. The selling price stood at around 155,000 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price reached approximately 154,000 dinars.

A similar trend was seen in Erbil, where the dollar’s selling price stabilized at 154,600 dinars per 100 dollars. The buying price was recorded at 154,500 dinars per 100 dollars.

The slight decline comes as traders and investors continue monitoring market conditions and exchange rate movements. Financial observers are closely watching developments in the coming hours to see whether the dinar can maintain its position or if new market pressures will influence currency prices.
