Member of the Parliamentary Oil and gasoline Committee, Basem Al-Gharibawi, confirmed these days, Thursday, that the oil and gasoline law has been going through political obstacles for greater than 15 years.

Al-Gharibawi said, in a statement to dinaropinions.com, that “the oil and fuel law has been suspended due to the fact 2007 because of deep political variations among the concerned events.”

He defined that “the core of the dispute revolves around Article 112 of the constitution, that’s the basis for regulating the management of the oil and gas file inside the united states of america,” noting that “this text continues to be situation to differing views at the mechanisms for its implementation.”

He delivered that “one of the maximum outstanding points of competition is the formation of the Oil Federation Council, its control mechanism, and the nature of member representation in it, further to disagreements over the formation of the specialized technical committees,” indicating that “the rounds of dialogue and discussions between the applicable parties did now not bring about a final agreement that would pave the way for the approval of the regulation.”
