Former MP Yasser Al-Husseini said he was surprised by the caretaker government making new decisions in its final days, especially after failing to deliver on major promises over the past three years. The biggest example, he said, is the salary scale, which was never properly fixed or explained.

Al-Husseini said the government never gave people a clear report on the salary scale. Instead, it handed out tablets to employees, which he described as a move aimed more at media attention than real solutions.

According to him, these steps don’t solve any problems. He said they are simply attempts to buy time and calm public anger without addressing the real issues.

He also pointed to recent protests by contractors as a clear sign of how unhappy people are with the government’s policies. In his view, these demonstrations show growing frustration on the ground.

Al-Husseini stressed that a caretaker government making decisions at this stage raises serious questions. He said such moves make people wonder what the government’s real intentions are, especially when so many important issues were left unresolved.
