Saad Al-Mutalibi, a member of the State of Law Coalition, confirmed on Tuesday that the media’s attack on the Personal Status Law amendment had been exposed as false, as well as its false claims, and that he expected the amendment to pass without a hitch.
Al-Mutalibi said in a proclamation to , “The consideration of the second perusing of the individual status correction shows the presence of convictions among others after the reality of the revision was explained, which doesn’t influence different groups and religions.”
He continued, “The falsehood and false claims were exposed in the media attack launched by some figures aimed to incite specific groups and create a state of arousing abhorrent sectarian strife.”
