Al-Nahrain Bank provides POS devices to state institutions and the private sector for free

In collaboration with the smart card firm, Al-Nahrain State Islamic Bank agreed on Tuesday to offer electronic payment devices (pos) to state institutions and the commercial sector at no cost in order to enable people’ electronic banking transactions.

In order to make it easier for citizens to conduct electronic banking transactions, government bank Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank, along with a smart card business, stated that it will be giving away free electronic payment devices (pos) to state institutions and the commercial sector.

He invited anyone who wanted Pos gadgets to come to the bank’s management at Bab al-Muadham, the al-Salam branch in Najaf al-Ashraf, the al-Farahidi branch in Basra, and the Jihad district branch in Baghdad.

In order to activate these devices and assist the technical and logistical aspects of the task, the bank will train the technical staff.

This is in accordance with government policy, the directives of Finance Minister Al-Sit Taif Sami and Prime Minister Mr. Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, as well as the Central Bank of Iraq’s decisions to restrict cash transactions and switch to electronic payment point systems. These actions will also help to improve government resources and ensure that they are collected in a transparent, safe, and dependable manner.
