On Sunday, Anbar Provincial Council member Adnan Kadhim al-Kubaisi denied rumors spreading in the media and on social platforms about suspending official working hours because of the cold wave.

Al-Kubaisi told dinaropinions.com that these reports are not true, saying there is no government decision to stop work. He confirmed that schools, universities, and government offices will remain open and continue operating until the end of normal working hours.

He added that the Anbar local government has not issued any orders to suspend work, and he urged media outlets and social media users to verify information and rely only on official sources before sharing news.
