Baghdad International Airport temporarily closed due to severe weather

The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced late Wednesday that Baghdad International Airport is temporarily closed because of severe weather.

In a statement, the ministry said flight operations were suspended due to low visibility caused by the worsening conditions.

Officials added that operations will resume once the weather improves, and further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
