BitGo Holdings has launched a new platform called BitGo Link, designed to help institutional trading and treasury teams manage cryptocurrency assets across BitGo accounts and connected exchanges from one central dashboard.
The company introduced BitGo Link on August 3, describing it as a control center that allows institutions to view balances, monitor buying power, transfer funds, and manage permissions without needing to log into multiple exchanges separately.
The platform connects with BitGo’s custody, settlement, and prime brokerage services. However, BitGo has not shared details about pricing, customer numbers, supported cryptocurrencies, or a full list of connected exchanges. The company only said that Link connects users with a wide network of major trading platforms.
BitGo Link gives institutions a complete view of their assets across BitGo accounts, external exchanges, and subaccounts. Users can move funds, rebalance capital, and manage liquidity needs while tracking transfers from the beginning until final settlement.
The company said the product solves a common challenge for large crypto investors. Many institutions keep assets with different custodians and exchanges, each with separate systems, approval rules, and reporting processes.
While Link provides visibility and transfer control, it does not mean all assets are stored with BitGo. The platform allows institutions to manage both BitGo and outside exchange accounts from one place.
A key feature of Link is that every transfer goes through BitGo’s Policy Engine. This allows companies to apply security rules, approval steps, and role-based access controls similar to those used for BitGo wallet transactions.
BitGo CEO Mike Belshe called Link the company’s “command center for institutional treasury and trading,” highlighting its goal of making crypto asset management easier for large organizations.
The launch expands BitGo’s efforts to improve institutional crypto services. The platform works alongside Go Network, which provides settlement and exchange liquidity access, and BitGo Prime, which offers trading, financing, and collateral management services.
BitGo said it plans to add more exchanges and treasury features to Link in the future, although it has not announced a specific timeline.
Meanwhile, investors are watching BitGo’s upcoming second-quarter earnings report, scheduled for August 12. The report is expected to provide more information about customer growth, expenses, and the impact of new products.
BitGo’s shares, listed under BTGO, closed near $5.06 on August 3, up about 4.1% from the previous close of $4.86. However, the stock remains below its $18 IPO price from January.
The company reported strong revenue growth in the first quarter, with revenue reaching $3.77 billion compared with $1.77 billion a year earlier. However, its net loss increased to $60.7 million, partly due to changes in digital asset values and costs related to its IPO.
BitGo has also been restructuring its operations, including reducing its workforce while focusing more resources on security, trading, stablecoins, settlement, and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The upcoming earnings report will provide the next major update on whether BitGo’s expansion into institutional crypto services is helping strengthen its business.
