Bitwise’s crypto investment products attracted nearly $100 million in fresh investor money on August 27, with Solana leading the way, according to CEO Hunter Horsley.

Solana-related products brought in around $40 million, making them the strongest performer of the day. Bitcoin products followed with about $22 million in inflows, while Hyperliquid products attracted roughly $20 million and XRP funds added around $12 million. Ethereum products received about $1.4 million.

The strong demand highlights growing investor interest in cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin, especially Solana, which accounted for roughly 40% of Bitwise’s total daily inflows.

One of the key drivers was the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), which recorded more than $126 million in trading volume during the session — its highest trading day since launching in October 2025. The fund not only tracks Solana’s price but also stakes most of its holdings, allowing investors to benefit from staking rewards.

However, trading volume and fund inflows are not the same thing. Trading volume measures how much ETF stock changes hands between buyers and sellers, while inflows represent new money entering the fund. This means BSOL’s $126 million trading volume does not mean it received $126 million in new investments.

Hyperliquid and XRP products also showed strong momentum, attracting a combined $32 million in inflows. Their performance suggests investors are increasingly looking for exposure to alternative crypto assets rather than focusing solely on Bitcoin.

The inflows come during a broader period of strength for crypto investment products. Bitcoin ETFs have recently recorded several consecutive days of positive inflows, helping support Bitcoin’s strong performance throughout August.

Despite the positive trend, analysts note that ETF inflows can change quickly and do not guarantee future price gains. Investors will now be watching upcoming fund reports to see whether demand for Solana remains strong or shifts back toward Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies.
