The comprehensive memorandum of understanding for the rehabilitation and development of four oil fields in Kirkuk between the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and BP was signed under the direction of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani.
The agreement was signed by BP CEO Murray Auchincloss and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani.
The North Oil Company (NOC)’s four fields in Kirkuk, the Kirkuk field with its two domes (Baba and Avana), the Bai Hassan, Jambur, and Khabbaz fields, as well as the possibility of expanding to additional exploratory fields, are all included in the memorandum.
As per the Service, this drive is important for the public authority’s endeavors to advance energy open doors, remembering sunlight based energy ventures for the area.
