Discussions about removing three zeros from the currency and adjusting the value of these notes accordingly have been ongoing for years. For instance, a 25,000 dinar note would equate to 25 dinar, a 10,000 dinar note to 10 dinar, a 5,000 dinar note to 5 dinar, and a 1,000 dinar note to 1 dinar. This adjustment applies only within Iraq. It appears that this process has been finalized, with reports suggesting completion by Sunday. We also heard that the new lower denominations would be available starting Monday, indicating a new valuation for the dinar.
