Member of the Parliamentary legal Committee, Aref Al-Hamami, confirmed on Monday that the brand new private popularity law issues the Shiite factor only, noting that there’s a political agreement to pass this regulation.
Al-Hamami said in a declaration to dinaropinions.com, “The house of Representatives went toward extending the legislative consultation so that you can vote on some critical laws, most drastically the overall amnesty and personal popularity.”
He brought, “The parliamentary felony committee and all political blocs and their representatives have agreed to bypass the non-public status law, mainly because the regulation worries the Shiite thing, which is involved with this new law.”
He explained that “the Sunni element has no objection to the non-public popularity law, as it works consistent with private fame law No. 188, further to the new law that does not affect the Kurds in any respect and will not encompass them, as they have got their own law within the region that they rely on in their personal reputation.”
Al-Hamami pointed out that “the personal popularity law is not connected to any issue aside from the Shiite component.”
