Crypto and crypto-related companies announced a total of $1.7626 billion in eight disclosed funding deals between October 17 and 23, 2026. The biggest deal was Tenstorrent’s $1.5 billion Series E round.
Tenstorrent raised $1.5 billion at a post-investment valuation of $6.2 billion. Whop secured $200 million, while Robinhood Ventures Fund I disclosed a $30 million investment in US bank Erebor. Tether also backed Tenstorrent, led Mural’s Series A round, and invested in Peso’s pre-seed round.
The funding figures were compiled from Crypto Fundraising, DeFiLlama and DropsTab, then checked against company announcements, investor disclosures and news reports. The total includes financing announced during the week, even when a deal closed earlier. Company valuations and previously announced funding were excluded.
Tenstorrent’s $1.5 billion round made up about 85% of the total. The round closed on October 19, with Trace Capital and Innovation X leading the investment. Other participants included ARK Invest, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Morgan Stanley, Sandisk, T. Rowe Price and Tether Investments.
Tenstorrent plans to use the money to deploy its Galaxy server systems at a larger scale and develop AI and CPU designs that it licenses to chipmakers. The deal highlights growing overlap between crypto investment firms and the AI infrastructure sector, even though Tenstorrent is not a blockchain-focused company.
Whop announced a $200 million Series D on October 21, led by Sequoia and Shopify Ventures. The deal valued the platform at $5.1 billion. Whop helps businesses and individuals sell digital products, software access, subscriptions and online services. It plans to use the funding for international expansion and product development, particularly in payments and advertising.
The latest round follows Tether’s separate $200 million strategic investment in Whop in February, when the company was valued at $1.6 billion. That earlier investment is not included in this week’s total.
Robinhood Ventures Fund I disclosed a $30 million preferred-stock investment in Erebor Bank. Although announced on October 21, the investment actually closed on September 17.
Erebor serves US businesses in technology, defense, robotics, AI and digital assets. According to Robinhood, the bank received its national charter and FDIC insurance in February. Its deposits had grown beyond $7 billion, although that figure is separate from the $30 million investment. The deal also gives retail investors exposure to Erebor through Robinhood Ventures Fund I, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange.
Mural raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Tether, with North Island Ventures and existing investors also participating. Announced on October 20, the round brought the company’s total funding to $28 million.
The New York-based company builds payment infrastructure that connects accounts, payments, identity checks and compliance tools. It combines local banking connections with blockchain payment networks. Mural said it had processed $2.1 billion in payments across 128 countries since launching its API in 2025, with customers including Deel and Opera.
The company plans to use the money for hiring, licensing, compliance and expansion into new markets. It is also developing controls for payments made by AI agents, including spending limits, approved recipients and audit records.
Other disclosed deals included several smaller rounds:
- Dataline raised $10.6 million in a seed round co-led by Lattice and Dispersion Capital. Investors included Coinbase Ventures, Symbolic Capital, Anagram and Vlad Tenev. The company provides data for AI agents. Proceeds from a separate token sale were not included because they had not been announced.
- Nectar Group, the developer of HoneyB, secured $5 million in seed funding from backers including Portal Ventures, Peer Ventures and Anchorage Digital Ventures. HoneyB aims to connect Bitcoin-backed collateral with institutional income strategies.
- Hylo raised $1 million in a strategic round led by Solana Ventures, with Colosseum participating. The Solana-based protocol develops leveraged tokens, stablecoin products and yield infrastructure. Its earlier $1.5 million seed round was excluded.
- X Pay raised $1 million from nine investors, including DCI, Credit Scend, Skyland Ventures and Zerra Ventures. The Netherlands-based company uses x402 to support automated USDC payments and plans to expand to more blockchains, review its security, build an API marketplace and prepare for EU compliance.
Several other funding announcements did not disclose their latest investment amounts. Peso received a pre-seed investment led by Tether to expand USDT payment infrastructure across Latin America. Lighthouse announced additional strategic funding for AI-agent memory and decentralized storage, but its reported $1.58 million figure represented total funding rather than the size of the latest round.
Sonic Labs also announced an over-the-counter agreement involving approximately 13 million S tokens and an unnamed long-term partner. Since the deal’s financial terms were not disclosed, its estimated token value was excluded from the weekly funding total.
