Early Ethereum investors have reportedly moved another 4,000 ETH toward exchanges, while Santiment recorded Ethereum’s largest daily net exchange outflow in more than four months.
Blockchain tracking firm Lookonchain reported that one early investor transferred 1,000 ETH to an address linked to Kraken. The investor originally bought 100,000 ETH during Ethereum’s initial coin offering at $0.31 per token. Based on that price, the original allocation cost $31,000, and the 1,000 ETH transfer represents 1% of that amount. However, the investor’s remaining holdings are unknown.
A second early holder reportedly sold 3,000 ETH worth $7.23 million. Lookonchain said the investor had acquired the tokens nine years ago at $18.83 each. At the reported value, the ETH was worth roughly 128 times its original purchase cost. Exchange deposits alone, however, do not confirm the final selling price or actual profit.
Lookonchain also reported that an institution that had been inactive for more than a year moved large amounts of AAVE and Worldcoin (WLD). The institution transferred 156,690 AAVE worth $22.86 million and 19.74 million WLD worth $10.04 million.
Of those amounts, 62,000 AAVE valued at $9.12 million and 19 million WLD valued at $9.67 million were sent to exchanges. The exchange deposits totaled approximately $18.79 million. The institution was not identified, and the reported transfers do not confirm that all the tokens were sold.
Meanwhile, Santiment reported that Ethereum experienced net exchange outflows of around 169,770 ETH on October 22, according to its October 23 analysis. This was the largest daily net outflow in more than four months.
Santiment said that when ETH leaves exchanges, less supply may be immediately available for selling. The firm compared the movement with June 5, when around 223,800 ETH left exchanges during a period near a local price low. However, it warned that the historical comparison does not guarantee another market bottom.
Santiment identified $2,400 as an important price level for Ethereum. A sustained move above $2,500 could strengthen the case for a recovery, while a drop below approximately $2,330 could weaken it.
Ethereum investment funds have also faced selling pressure. Between October 12 and 16, US Ethereum ETFs recorded $320.1 million in net outflows, compared with $228.4 million from Bitcoin ETFs. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for nearly $299 million of Ethereum funds’ weekly net withdrawals.
In other developments, Aave announced its first externally managed lending markets on V4 through Sentora on October 22. The three Ethereum-based markets support borrowing RLUSD, PYUSD and OUSD against selected collateral.
Sentora will manage collateral settings, interest-rate models, price oracles and liquidation parameters, while Aave DAO retains ownership of the contracts. The launch also includes safeguards for risk-increasing changes, which face a 48-hour delay, and requires Aave governance approval before new collateral assets can be listed.
