Gold prices remained stable on Saturday in Baghdad and Erbil, with 21-carat gold trading around 945,000 IQD per mithqal, according to a market survey by Shafaq News.
In Baghdad’s Al-Nahr Street market, 21-carat Gulf, Turkish and European gold was selling for 945,000 IQD per mithqal (five grams), while the buying price stood at 941,000 IQD. Prices were unchanged from Thursday.
Meanwhile, 21-carat Iraqi gold was selling for 915,000 IQD per mithqal, with a buying price of 911,000 IQD.
At local jewelry shops, the selling price of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 945,000 and 955,000 IQD per mithqal. Iraqi gold was selling between 915,000 and 925,000 IQD.
In Erbil, 22-carat gold was priced at 990,000 IQD per mithqal, while 21-carat gold sold for 945,000 IQD and 18-carat gold for 809,000 IQD.
Overall, gold prices remained steady across both Baghdad and Erbil markets.
