Iraq Achieves Highest Oil Revenues since July 2022

The Ministry of Oil in Iraq has released initial data on oil exports for October:

  • The total number of crude oil exports is 109,545,589 barrels.
  • The revenues earned from the export of crude oil were $9.669 billion, which is the highest it has been since July 2022.
  • Central and southern Iraq exported 108,050,360 barrels of crude oil.
  • The exports from Kirkuk, which were being transported via the port of Ceyhan, have been stopped.
  • A total of 464,728 barrels of oil were exported to Jordan by truck.
  • The amount of oil exported from Qayyarah was 1,030,501 barrels.
  • Average daily crude oil exports rose to 3.533 million barrels per day in October from 3.438 million bpd in September.
  • The average cost per barrel is $88.26.
