Iraq Advances Gas Pipeline Project to Support Power Plants

Iraq’s Ministry of Oil is progressing with the implementation of a dry gas pipeline to support strength technology, following directives from Deputy high Minister for strength and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani.

Dr. Ezzat Saber Ismail, Deputy Minister for gas Affairs, along side Ali Ward Hammoud, Director trendy of the country organization for Oil tasks (SCOP), inspected the Khor Al-Zubair terminal in Basra, where the pipeline’s receiving palms are underneath construction.

The 40-km pipeline, with a forty two-inch diameter, extends from Khor Al-Zubair to Shatt Al-Arab regulator, providing important gasoline supply flexibility for power vegetation throughout Iraq. work is progressing unexpectedly, meeting engineering and technical requirements.

The officers also met with Dr. Farhan Al-Fartousi, Director of the Iraqi Ports business enterprise, to check on-website operations and make certain easy project of entirety. Al-Fartousi reaffirmed his organization’s complete cooperation to facilitate the pipeline’s installation.
