State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) announced that it has successfully marketed and exported sulphur to global markets, with the average current price reaching about $755 per tonne.
The company said the achievement reflects flexible marketing policies built on careful monitoring of global market conditions and international demand for sulphur.
According to SOMO, all available quantities from existing stockpiles and ongoing daily production have been allocated through official contracts to companies that met the required financial and technical standards.
The organization added that loading and export operations are expected to begin within the next few days.
