The Iraqi cupboard has determined to deduct 1% of kingdom employees’ salaries voluntarily to be donated to Gaza and Lebanon.
A document signed through the Secretary-wellknown of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naeem, said, “In its 47th ordinary consultation held on November 19, 2024, the cupboard authorized the Ministry of Finance’s thought to deduct 1% from the salaries, allowances, and pensions of all nation institutions as a voluntary contribution, to be deposited in money owed supporting Gaza and Lebanon similarly or according to the priorities set through top Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudni.”
The record added, “personnel or retirees who do not want to donate have to put up an reputable request to their minister or the top of an unbiased frame, indicating their preference now not to take part, so that the minister or head of the unbiased frame can teach the elimination of their names from the donor lists.”
