Iraq received $8.025 billion in income from oil shipments in January, a three percent decline.

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil released numbers showing that, compared to December, when oil export profits were $8.316 billion, the amount earned from oil exports in January dropped by $291 million, or three percent, to $8.025 billion.

Oil shipments through Iraq’s southern ports brought in $7.929 billion in income in January, down 1.63 percent from $8.288 billion in December.
