Today, Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul-Ghani emphasized the importance of resuming production and exports from the region’s oil fields.
Abdul-Ghani, as per a statement from the Ministry of Oil received by us, stated during his visit to Erbil that the purpose of his visit is to continue discussions that had taken place in Baghdad regarding the resumption of production operations and export of oil from the region’s fields. This is of great importance in terms of generating financial revenue and supplying the federal budget.
Abdul Ghani said that the government is working to find ways to resume oil production and exports from the region’s fields. He emphasized that he will be meeting with various officials in the region.
