Iraqi President Nzar Amedi welcomed a delegation from Parliament’s Investment and Development Committee on Wednesday at the Palace of Peace in Baghdad.
According to the Presidency’s media office, the meeting focused on two key issues.
The first was improving Iraq’s investment climate. President Amedi stressed the need to support economic development plans, remove obstacles facing investors, and strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors.
The second topic was the formation of the new government. The president emphasized the importance of helping the prime minister-designate form a capable cabinet based on integrity, experience, and independence.
The delegation also congratulated Amedi on assuming the presidency.
