Free MP Jawad Al-Yassari approached the Parliament Administration today, Saturday, to have the concerned gatherings to find out about the public authority’s actions with respect to the dollar emergency.
“The rise in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar is still continuing to this day in an unprecedented manner, stressing the need to stand on the causes of this crisis and its clearly negative impact on the country’s economic and social conditions,” Al-Yassari stated.
“Several independent representatives had previously requested the Presidency of the House of Representatives to host the relevant authorities to learn about the government’s measures regarding the dollar crisis,” he continued.
He mentioned that “the government’s slowness in taking financial measures will cause additional damage.”
“Put in place quick solutions and stop the rise in the dollar price in local markets,” he emphasized.
