Representative Yasser Iskandar confirmed today, Thursday, that the number of attempts to sabotage the electrical system in 2024 is the lowest since 2003.

Iskandar said to ,” that “the damage activities of the electrical framework in Iraq, particularly with the coming of the mid year season, were among the difficulties that increment Especially from the enduring of urban areas, with power being cut off for quite a long time to reestablish it.”

“The early plans to enhance the security of electricity transmission lines between the governorates and the security deployment according to systematic plans contributed to securing the electrical system to a greater extent, pointing out that 2024 is the lowest rate of direct sabotage of the system after 2003,” he continued.

He said that “transportation lines are being targeted by terrorists and whales of corruption at the same time.” He also said that the security services have come up with an all-encompassing plan to keep them safe and prevent any violations, especially during the summer.

It is important that transportation lines were straightforwardly focused on during the past seasons in Diyala, Salah al-Clamor, Kirkuk, and other governorates.
