Political analyst Ibrahim Al-Sarraj believes that there are electoral motives in the back of obstructing the approval of the popular Mobilization law, noting that obstructing the law and maintaining political blocs answerable for ministerial failure are all a part of a plan to attain a 2d time period.

He brought, “Al-Sudani’s concessions to external parties and tries to damage the famous Mobilization Forces are all a part of a plan and effort to gain a 2d term for prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and make certain his continuation in workplace.” He defined

that “Al-Sudani did no longer pass toward making ministerial changes, and held political events accountable for obstructing this modification within the beyond duration, as those movements are electoral, in particular after some ministries did not carry out their responsibilities.”
