Ripple President Monica Long will be one of the featured speakers at XRP Seoul 2026, adding a high-profile company representative to one of Asia’s biggest XRP-focused events.

The event is scheduled for October 3 during Korea Blockchain Week and will bring together XRP holders, XRP Ledger developers, blockchain projects, and companies exploring digital finance and blockchain technology.

Organizers of XRP Seoul announced that they are honored to welcome Long, highlighting her long-standing role at Ripple. She joined the company in 2013 and has helped guide its growth across business, product development, and engineering.

Over the years, Ripple has expanded beyond payments and now offers services related to digital asset custody, tokenization, stablecoins, and blockchain-based financial infrastructure. Long has played an important role in that expansion, making her appearance especially significant for the XRP community.

Her participation also comes as Korea Blockchain Week includes her among its 2026 speakers. The main conference will take place in Seoul from September 30 to October 1, just ahead of XRP Seoul.

South Korea remains one of the most important markets for XRP. The country has consistently recorded strong XRP trading activity, with Korean exchanges often playing a major role during periods of high market interest.

Earlier this year, XRP became one of the most actively traded cryptocurrencies on major Korean platforms, at times generating more trading volume than Bitcoin and Ethereum. This strong interest from retail investors has made Seoul a natural location for a large XRP-focused gathering.

According to organizers, XRP Seoul 2026 will focus on XRP Ledger development, institutional adoption, and real-world blockchain use cases. The event is expected to attract more than 3,000 attendees and over 100 companies.

Ripple’s presence in South Korea extends beyond cryptocurrency trading. The company has recently expanded its involvement in the country’s financial sector through partnerships and pilot programs focused on tokenized assets and digital finance.

One notable project involves Ripple Custody working with Kyobo Life Insurance to test near real-time settlement of tokenized Korean government bonds. The initiative also explores the use of Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, for payment and settlement purposes.

At the same time, local XRP Ledger communities are supporting developers through programs designed to help teams build blockchain-based financial products. These efforts are helping strengthen the XRPL ecosystem within South Korea.

While Ripple continues to grow its business, many XRP holders remain focused on one important question: how Ripple’s expanding services will ultimately benefit XRP itself.

The company has recently increased its focus on banking partnerships, stablecoins, custody solutions, and traditional financial services. Some investors want clearer evidence that these developments will create long-term demand for XRP, rather than only supporting Ripple’s broader business operations.

Because of this, Monica Long’s appearance at XRP Seoul is likely to attract significant attention. Many attendees will be looking for insights into how Ripple views the future relationship between XRP, RLUSD, tokenized assets, custody services, and the company’s broader growth strategy.

Her remarks could provide valuable clues about Ripple’s plans and the role XRP may play in the next phase of the company’s development.
