Vlad.fun, a memecoin launchpad built on Robinhood Chain, has temporarily shut down its platform after uncovering what it described as a “serious internal integrity issue” involving members of its own team.
The project announced that it has taken the platform offline while it conducts an internal investigation and works with legal advisers to determine what happened. So far, the team has not revealed the nature of the alleged misconduct or identified any individuals involved.
In a statement shared on X, Vlad.fun said it discovered the issue around the time of the platform’s launch and decided to suspend operations rather than ignore the problem. The team added that appropriate action will be taken once the investigation is complete.
At this stage, many important details remain unknown. Vlad.fun has not said whether user funds were affected, whether any token contracts were compromised, or whether the issue involved trading activity, platform access, team wallets, or another area of the project.
Just hours before announcing the shutdown, Vlad.fun also warned users about a token using the platform’s name that appeared on its leaderboard. The team clarified that the token was not official and reminded users that anyone can create tokens on the permissionless launchpad.
The project has not confirmed whether that warning is connected to the ongoing investigation.
The incident comes during a period of rapid growth for Robinhood Chain.
Robinhood launched its public blockchain network on July 1 as an Ethereum Layer-2 built using Arbitrum technology. The network was designed to support tokenized real-world assets, decentralized finance applications, and 24/7 trading of digital assets.
However, memecoins quickly became one of the biggest drivers of activity on the network.
Trading volumes surged during Robinhood Chain’s first weeks, with speculative memecoin trading accounting for a large share of network activity. Several tokens attracted significant attention from traders, helping boost liquidity and user participation across the ecosystem.
Vlad.fun is not the first launchpad on Robinhood Chain to experience problems during the network’s early stages.
Another launch platform, NOXA, recently went offline after reporting technical issues related to Cloudflare. While NOXA described its outage as a technical problem, Vlad.fun says its suspension is tied to an internal matter involving team members. At present, there is no evidence linking the two incidents.
For now, Vlad.fun users are waiting for more information about what happened and when the platform may return. The team has not provided a timeline for completing its investigation or resuming operations.
Until further details are released, the shutdown leaves several unanswered questions about the scope of the issue and its potential impact on the project and its users.
The situation is unfolding as Robinhood Chain continues to grow rapidly, with memecoin trading remaining one of the network’s most active sectors.
