As an investor in IQD, I am optimistic that this investment will support my retirement plans. With over 25 years of experience as a U.S. tax professional at the Department of Treasury, I have a solid understanding of financial matters. The IQD was valued at $3.22 back in 1991. However, there are critical insights that Iraqi dinar investors are often unaware of. Since 2003, Iraq has faced significant challenges. A historical exchange rate does not necessarily dictate the current value of a currency. New standards have emerged, and the benchmarks have shifted. The value of $3.00 for 1 Iraqi dinar banknote from 25 years ago is no longer applicable today. We are now in 2026. Prior to 2003, Iraq boasted two magnificent rivers, impressive infrastructure, and a population with financial stability. Life was prosperous until circumstances changed. [Post 1 of 2….stay tuned]
