This is what I plan on doing within the first 24 hours of the Iraqi dinar revaluing…I am not planning on going to my bank with the entire amount of dinar I have. I’m going to walk into my bank most likely with 4 – 25,000 notes (100,000 Iraqi dinar). If there’s a 1 to 1 revaluation this dinar could be worth $100,000. If there’s a $3 revaluation, it could be worth a lot more…For a lot of banks this is going to be the first time they’re dealing with this type of situation…You don’t want to go with all of your dinar only to find out the person handling this doesn’t know what they’re doing or they make a mistake… We’re talking about potentially big numbers. I am not taking that risk. That’s why I’m going to my bank with a very little amount of dinar at first. I want to see how they handle it. I want to see how it’s processed. Once I feel confident enough in their ability to handle the transaction I’ll go back with the remaining amount.
